Checklist for Membership

  • Completed Nomination Card (supplied by the CU)
  • Completed Deduction Forms (supplied by the CU)
  • 1 Picture-bearing Identification (DL, Passport, Voters’ ID)
  • 1 Other Supporting Identification (Birth Certificate, etc.)
  • Tax Registration Card (TRN)
  • Proof of Address (utility bill or other up to 3 months old)
  • 2 References/Recommendations

Qualified references:

  • Justice of the Peace (JP)
  • Minister of Religion,
  • Police Officer (Inspector or higher)
  • Attorney-at-Law
  • Medical Doctor
  • School Principal
  • Current Employer at Management Level
  • The Credit Union’s (CU) Board or Committee Member
  • CU member for more than 2 years
  • CU Employee at Supervisory Level
  • Manager of another financial institution where applicant has an account in good standing  (letter must state same).

NB: Your References must know you personally for at least 12 months

$3,582.50 (Minimum) to open Account

(Entrance Fee $500 + GCT, Permanent Shares $1000, Voluntary Shares $2000)

If Opening Account for a Minor:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Recent certified passport-sized photograph of child/children or Passport
  • Proof of address for parent(s) [not more than 3 months old]
  • TRN for parent(s)
  • Valid ID of parent(s)
  • 2 References from LEPCCU prescribed list of referees (list above)
  • 2 References/Recommendations
